Cottages Situated around a Paved Courtyard with a Central Pond and Waterfall. Covered Verandah for sitting in the sun or evening socialising. Barbecue.

Approach to Accommodation is Paved and there is a Ramp to Entrance. All Doorways are Three Foot Wide. Door Handles are Lever Type. THERE ARE NO STEPS WITHIN THE UNITS.

There is Oil-Fired Central Heating throughout all Units.

Unit 1 - KINGFISHER COTTAGE
Living Room/Kitchen (Open Plan)

Light Switches and Socket Heights: no more than 1.500mm.
Floor Covering: Carpet and "Rhinoceros" non-slip vinyl in Kitchen Area.
There is a Fireplace for winter evenings.
Work Surfaces are 650mm high.
There is a Split-Level Ceramic Hob. There is a space under the hob which is also 650mm high and the Oven

and Grill are within reach of a person in a wheelchair. There is a Microwave at a low level.
The Sink is 650mm high and there is a space under for easy access. It has Lever Taps. Taps and Cooker controls can be used from a wheelchair. There is a Pull-Out Table which is 600mm high.
There is a Fridge under the worktop.
Pine dining Table can be heightened using blocks which are available if required.
Two Easy Chairs and a Bedsettee (metal sprung).

Bedrooms

TWO Bedrooms, one with a Double Bed (4ft 6in) and one with Two Singles (3ft). One of the Singles has a Pull-out Bed facility.
Floor Covering: Carpet.
There is a space for a wheelchair to manoeuvre and a wheelchair user would be able to approach at least one side of the Double Bed and both sides of the Single Beds.
Blocks can be used to heighten beds.

Bathroom with WC

WC has space for transfer on both sides and grab rails on both sides which swing down.
The Bath is 500mm high. There is space 800mm for side transfer and a horizontal wall mounted grab rails parallel with the top of the bath. There is a seat at the end of the bath. A Portable Mangaroo Hydraulic Bath Seat is available (No Extra Charge). There is a Shower within the bath and controls are within sitting reach.
Floor covering: Hydro "Rhinoceros" non-slip.
There is space under the Wash Basin which has a 650mm space under and all taps are lever.
